Logs of Duty: Logging

Probably more important than the app itself.

Rule #1: Your logs are not your diary. I guarantee you that nobody will appreciate the jokes and other life details when the application crashes in the middle of the night. Log with a purpose. And not further.

Rule #2: Don’t raise your voice too often. Keep the CRITICAL level for times that deserve it. So, at least I know when to go into full-panic mode.
